⚠️Fully homemade plan: home-cooked meals alone are almost always short on calcium and trace minerals. For long-term feeding, add a vet-recommended calcium + vitamin–mineral supplement, or keep some balanced kibble in the mix. Ask us at your next visit.
⚠️No protein anchor selected: dogs need a meat, egg, dairy or complete-kibble base every day. Add at least one protein source or a kibble before feeding this plan.

How the meals work: your day's calories are first split across the meals you chose, then the checked foods are dealt out so every bowl is a different combination — proteins and kibble go first so each meal has an anchor (repeating one only if there are fewer anchors than meals), then grains, veg and extras are spread across the remaining bowls. Within each meal, calories lean roughly 35% protein & dairy, 25% grains, 15% veg, 15% kibble, 10% fats — whatever groups that bowl actually contains. Tap 🔀 Shuffle meals to re-deal the same foods into new combinations. A few items carry built-in safety caps: liver at ~8% of daily calories (vitamin A), fish oil at ~3% (dosing), spinach at 80 g (oxalates — keep occasional for stone-prone dogs), and pumpkin/lauki at 250 g (sheer volume). Capped calories are automatically shifted to the other foods in that bowl.
On the kibble tiers: "everyday" (~₹150/kg), "mainstream" (~₹250/kg) and "premium / vet-grade" (~₹1000/kg) are price-quality bands, not specific brands — calorie density rises with grade, so swap in whatever matches what's actually on your shelf.
Prices are rough Indian retail averages per 100 g (or per egg/roti/tsp/tbsp) and will vary by city, season and where it's bought — treat the total as a ballpark, not a quote.
Using this well: switch to any new food gradually over 5–7 days (25% new → 50% → 75% → 100%), weigh portions rather than eyeballing them, keep khichdi/daliya plain — no onion, garlic, salt or heavy spice — and keep treats within the treat budget shown above. Fresh water available at all times.
This is a general planning tool, not veterinary advice — confirm calorie targets and any diet change with your vet, especially for puppies, seniors, or dogs with kidney, liver, pancreas, skin or weight issues. Never feed onion, garlic, chocolate, grapes/raisins, xylitol, macadamia nuts, alcohol, or cooked bones — none of those appear in this tool's food list on purpose.
